Amazing food, service was great and food came out quickly. I will definitely return here again! I got the El. Pollo Agridulce (sweet and sour breaded chicken) with a side of their house fried rice. It did not disappoint!

Delicious Chinese and Venezuelan comfort food in huge portions! It's a casual happy family vibes place but plenty of seating with lively music. Every dish we ate had tons of flavor and they don't skimp on meat! The empanadas were our favorite - huge and freshly fried stuffed with filling. If you like salted egg yolk, the pumpkin is a must try too! The chili oil dumplings were huge and had really nice mala spiciness. The service was really good too and staff were all working hard serving everyone. Their menu is really extensive and they have a variety of vegetarian and vegan options too. The restaurant itself is located closer to the union square side of tenderloin, so it's not too sketchy outside. We were so full after our meal and for a super reasonable price. I'll definitely be returning to try even more dishes!

I would move back to SF just for this restaurant alone. It's so insanely delicious and well priced. Every dish i've tried here so far has legitimately blown me away My favorite is their tender and juicy rotisserie chicken with meat that pretty much falls off the bone. I usually order that along with their empanadas that are sooo delicious and crispy. It's honestly a hard tie between the chicken and the empanadas for me. The best part is that the empanadas and chicken come with this tasty green creamy garlicy sauce that really elevates the experience. I also enjoyed their skewers. I tried the beef skewer and it tastes like it was roasted over a camp fire. It made me feel like every other restaurant skewer I've had before this one was just cooked meat with a stick stabbed through for plating purposes. But, this tasted like a true good Skewer that you'd eat while camping. Last of all, their homemade limeade drink is really good.. It was very pleasant to sip on in between bites of chicken and crispy empanadas. I also had great experiences with the service and Christine is super nice! I like the cute details, like how they hand write "谢谢/thank you!" on every To-go paper bag. Seems like lots of love and dedication go into this restaurant and the food and it's so worth making the trip here every time. I would literally eat here everyday if i could :)

I've heard a lot of good things about Cantoo and this was my first time trying Venezuelan food, so I was really excited. I ordered from Doordash and got the pabellon. Everything came packaged really well and portions were generous. I really liked how tender and rich in flavor the stewed beef was. The entree came with rice and black beans, which I felt were decent/standard, nothing out of this world. There were also fried plantains, which were made salty. I usually like my plantains sweet, but it was nice to try. I want to come back to try other items on their menu since I saw there were a lot of dishes I wasn't familiar with and I love trying new things.
